Our annual Family Weekend gives families a taste of what it’s like to be a Viking!
Enjoy a campus tour or a riverboat cruise. Cheer on our Vikings football team and have a family photo taken on our beautiful campus.
Most events are free, but we would appreciate knowing how many people plan to attend. Please register and purchase tickets by September 13. Those registering by Aug 15 will receive a 10-percent discount.

1:00 p.m. AUGUSTANA PLANETARIUM SHOW
John Deere Planetarium
Dr. Lee Carkner, Professor of Physics and Astronomy and director of the John Deere Planetarium will provide two shows in the newly renovated planetarium. Shows will be identical and take place at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., lasting approximately 40 minutes each.
The John Deere Planetarium at Augustana College just underwent a complete renovation with new seats, lights, sound system and a new high resolution fulldome projector system for our 30 foot dome. Come see our new show Destination Mars, where we take a journey into the past and future of the Red Planet and learn about NASA's plans to explore the solar system.

2501 River Drive, Moline
Have lunch with your family while cruising the Mississippi River on the Celebration Belle, an 800-passenger paddlewheel boat. Boarding begins at noon.
The cruise departs at 12:30 p.m. and returns at 2 p.m.
$35/adult, $25/child ages 3-10
